What are Origin Regulations?
They are specific regulations to determine the country where the goods where manufactured or produced under exact requirements – this in an essential condition to be a beneficiary of the preferences granted by the Trade Agreement.
The origin status incorporates the dispositions established for the qualification criterion that identifies products as native, and also the origin declaration, certification and verification procedures.
The main purpose of the origin regulations is to allow that goods obtained entirely in the country, or also that have materials not entirely obtained in the country but that have been radically transformed to benefit from the Agreements.
What is Self-certification?
Self-certification is a way to certify the origin, allowed and used only under some trade agreements where the exporter, importer or producer himself states that the goods being exported to a specific country comply with the origin regulations set in the Trade Agreements. Each agreement establishes the authority allowed to state such condition.
What is Origin Verification?
Origin Verification consists of checking the origin certificate validation and verifying that the goods exported or imported complies with the origin regulations established in a specific Trade Agreement. It is worth mentioning that these Agreements establish the regulations connected to the procedures that must be carried out to perform an origin verification process.

Authorized Exporter is a customs entity or a governmental authority of the exporting country with the faculty to authorize any exporter as long as he carries out frequent exports of native exports. This authorization – established under the European Union, EFTA and Turkey Agreements, gives consent to the exporter to issue an invoice declaration about the compliance of the Trade Agreement’s Origin regulations for those embarks performed under the scope of said agreements.
